    BACKGROUND

Melissa’s work is about realigning mind and body so that people can live, work and connect more healthily and happily. She specializes in helping executives re-ignite their sense of purpose and shift the way they relate with others.

She also teaches Open Floor Movement, which is an approach to learning mindfulness that uses movement and interaction. Sitting still isn’t the only way to drop into the present!

Melissa has been coaching since 2009 and is based in San Francisco. Her work includes helping leaders with:

    • stress management
    • self-awareness and self-confidence
    • navigating difficult transitions
    • emotional reactivity
    • balancing work with life
    • deepening personal connections
    • unblocking creativity

    APPROACH + PHILOSOPHY

Melissa is both an Executive Coach and a Mindfulness Teacher.

Many people come to coaching because they want some kind of change that is difficult to do on their own. Melissa helps people get unstuck and build forward momentum by working with the body and mind together.

She draws from a variety of approaches including values/purpose discovery, mindfulness and relational inquiry. Her helps deepen self-awareness, manage difficult emotions, connect more authentically and clear the cobwebs so that her clients can bring ideas to life.

Melissa’s clients know her as someone who is warm, down-to-earth and open. She has a knack for building strong relationships and getting to deep issues quickly.

Melissa isn’t here to sell you her toolkit for life or give you advice. There is no “touchy feeling” jargon and no recipes with her. She is an intuitive, straight shooter with a lovely and strong presence and you feel immediately at ease with her.
